IMPACT 2027 is a hybrid international conference held in Bandung, Indonesia, on 3–5 February 2027. The conference advances trusted multimodal intelligence, from generative and immersive media to biomedical and digital health systems, by bridging innovative models with real-world deployment, governance, and cyber-technologies that ensure security, authenticity, and responsible impact.
IMPACT 2027 welcomes original research and practical contributions that translate intelligent multimedia and Physical-AI into deployable systems, supported by rigorous evaluation and responsible engineering practices. The program features peer-reviewed technical sessions across four tracks, spanning multimodal and immersive media intelligence, biomedical multimedia and digital health systems, digital business platforms and responsible AI governance, and cyber-technologies for trustworthy AI and secure digital media.
The conference aims to bring together academia, industry, and practitioners to exchange ideas, share emerging results, and build collaborations that accelerate innovation and adoption. By connecting foundational advances with real-world constraints and trust requirements, IMPACT 2027 provides a forum for impactful research, scalable solutions, and cross-sector partnerships across the multimodal era.
Track 1 — Multimodal, Generative & Immersive Media Intelligence
Scope: AI methods and systems for understanding, retrieving, recommending, generating, and experiencing multimedia—covering both content intelligence and immersive/XR pipelines.
Focus areas:
Track 2 — Biomedical Multimedia Intelligence & Digital Health Systems
Scope: AI for biomedical media (medical imaging/video, biosignals, and clinical text) and digital health systems, aligned with Physical-AI (sensing, edge, XR) and cyber-technologies (privacy, security, auditability, provenance).
Focus areas:
Track 3 — Digital Business Platforms, Governance & Responsible AI
Scope: Engineering and governance of digital platforms and AI products, focusing on lifecycle control, accountability, and compliance-by-design.
Focus areas:
Track 4 — Cyber-Technologies for Trustworthy AI & Secure Digital Media
Scope: Security, authenticity, and resilience for AI-enabled systems and digital media—protecting models, data, and pipelines against attacks and misuse.
Focus areas:
The IMPACT conference provides an international forum for researchers, academics, and industry practitioners to present and discuss recent advances, challenges, and future directions in intelligent multimedia, Physical-AI, and cyber-technologies, with a strong emphasis on healthcare applications.
Submitted papers should present original contributions, including theoretical foundations, algorithmic developments, system design, experimental results, or real-world applications.
Please take note that IEEE has a strict policy on No-Show. Therefore, if your paper is accepted, one of the authors OR their representatives MUST PRESENT their paper at the conference. Papers with no show participants without a valid reason will not be submitted to IEEExplore. NO REFUND of the paid fees may be claimed by the no show author.
Before uploading the final version (camera ready) of your paper we kindly ask you to verify if your PDF is compatible with IEEE Xplore. IEEE offers a service for checking the PDF compatibility:
